This is my experience in almost six years of ownership. Try charging the battery to full. It might take 24 hours for ISG to start working after charging. Not familiar with the Ceed, but with other models there is no dipstick for Auto fluid.Advise take it into dealer for checking.If a fluid level problem and needs replacing if gone brown,reverse gear is usually the first one to fail. Also if the torque converter is faulty again reverse is usually the first to suffer. Apparently there is a big problems with the & 7 speed DCT (dual clutch transmission) automatic transmission. I believe they are fitted to a range of Kia/Hyundai cars, I believe Ceeds/Optima/Sportage etc. It is an automatic gearbox without a torque converter.
