🏀 Guild Wars 2 Best Class Reddit
Best class for solo play [Discussion] Hello, /r/GuildWars2 is the primary community for Guild Wars 2 on Reddit.
Imo, Norns are the best ones for fashion war, especially if you make them small, they are basically bigger and stronger humans. I don't like humans in this game, they look like noodles, too skinny. I made an asuran thief and norn ranger. Honestly I don't like medium Armor on my asura.
Thanks in advance! - Don't like classes that are too simple, but I also don't need to go to the #1 with the highest skill cap, somewhat in the middle ground is ideal. Elementalist, mesmer or thief. Just give me a min i'll just make 8 more characters and will try all builds for you and will send you sheets link with all explanations and builds
Probably anything that gives itself quickness, crit cap/condi duration caps and bonus points for might. I think I’d put my money on a zerker reaper or vipers quick brand as highest dps. They’re also relatively survivable classes and can go full glass as long as you’re playing intelligently. 2. Beranir.
The cooldown of the skill is 20 secs. With Alac the CD is 16 Secs. With the trait the skill will pulse Alac 6 times with 2 sec duration per pulse. Totaling 12 secs with 0% boon duration. Since you need 16 Secs of Alac to achieve perma Alac, you need 34% boost to turn that 12 secs into 16 Secs.
Asura seems best, going by the Thaumanova fractal morph. Hundred Blades take 3.5 seconds, with Quickness its half that. So outside of that beautiful timeframe I would have to spend my time as a talking rat with melon for a head which isn't worth it. Also female Charr Hundred Blades is not too shabby at all I must say.
Rev and Ele are probably the best for CC right now. Rev Staff 5 is amazing for breakbars. Similarly, Ele has skills like Air Focus 5 or Warhorn 4 for great breakbar damage. As for CCing a a bunch of small mobs, very few skills are better than the Mesmer Focus 4 pull which makes AOEing down a bunch of small mobs really easy.
If you just want to play open world, just pick any two ranged weapons and play. Most classes have that, so you pretty much can't go wrong, although Ranger, Necromancer, Engineer and Elementarist have better options for ranged weapons. When it comes to more advanced content, or even endgame, ranged drops off hard.
I love inconsistency. It'd be really boring if I woke up everyday knowing that I'll be OK. But in all seriousness, necromancer was my first class in GW1 and my main in GW2, undead was my favourite race in Warcraft 3, and Dread Necromancer is a wonderful class in D&D 3.5. Necromancy is in my blood.
Knight of the Thorn is an achievement category under Side Stories that rewards you with the ascended weapon set Caladbolg. Once you've finished Heart of Thorns, talk to Ridhais in your home instance. ~1-2 hours. The Specialisation Collections are worth doing - they act as a sort of content guide to expansion events. Will take a bit of time.
Don't go for the easiest class, go for the class that attracts you the most. Enlightening ! Thanks. Necromancer, thief, and ranger are probably the easiest to learn, but for the most part just go with whatever seems appealing, leveling in this game isn't hard compared to many other mmos.
Free boonspam from pet merge and a lot of abilities become super powerful (e.g. Sic'Em and Axe 3). Poison build soulbeast has incredible sustain in both open world solo stuff and pvp. Also Dolyak stance is one of the most powerful defense abilities in the game. 5. boomboomown.
You can dps pve as well, it will be good enuf once you learn the rotation. (ofcourse lower than sword/focus builds) Staff tempest open world/pvp, hard to kill build, easy to master, you utilize elementals and yolo from range, can solo champion mobs with it, as staff has alot of CC abilities, and massive range. 5.
Ranger: longbow knockback guarantees you get highest DPS because the rest of your party's DPS drops when you knock it out of all their high damage cooldowns. I'm just kidding, of course; the above tactic mostly only applies to open-world events. Follow zerg, knockback, profit. 6. Photoloss.
Mesmer is the most unique class of any games I’ve played. It has varied over the years but chrominance is incredible for power and boon builds. Mirage has both very strong power builds and exceptionally strong condition and boon builds as well. Mirage has become my favorite. 3.
